Happy Birthday Mom

My beautiful mother turns 50 in a couple of days. My family celebrated this weekend by going to dinner and a show. At dinner we gave her a book filled with 50 things we love about her and it stirred up some good conversation. After dinner, we went to Jesterz comedy club. My friend Preston from EA is a Jester and it was really fun to see him on stage! Actually,a good chunk of the show was devoted to making fun of my mother and my family! It was really nice to have a night out with the whole family. Even though we all live so close, it rarely happens. We left the baby with David's family and it was the longest I had ever been away from him. Nice, but I was glad to see my baby.

Anyway, my mom is such a fantastic lady! She is the most beautiful 50 year old I've ever seen. A lot of people mistake us for sisters, and even once someone thought she was my daughter! She is smart, articulate, adventerous, organized, willing, optomistic, and the life of any party! Happy Birthday Mom!

Our Little Puppy

My neighbor gave me this puppy dog robe and I love it! But too bad the baby is pretty much grown out of it! Will takes a bath every night and is finally starting to enjoy it. In the past he has been screaming the whole time, but since Daddy put a little more water in the tub and made it a little warmer, he seems to enjoy himself. When David is home, he usually give the baby his bath. It's all part of our bedtime routine which I'm so desperately trying to establish now so that I can finally get some sleep at night.

Will's Blessing Day

We blessed Will at church Sunday Sept. 7th at the Evergreen Ward Sacrament meeting. Thanks to Grandma Delynn Will wore the sweetest white outfit I've ever seen and was looking his Sunday best. This was the baby's first time at church and he got to be held most of the meeting by his Dad and a little bit by his Aunt Kasey which he loved! Much to the surprise of both his parents Will hardly made a noise the entire meeting. David gave a beautiful blessing and besides a few missing relatives due to sickness, it was a very special day. Grandma Delynn and Sandra organized a little lunch afterward for the family which was a nice way to make his blessing day complete.

Summer Swimming

Binki Baby

Will has been sucking on his binki since the day he was born and hasn't let go since. He actually will suck it so hard that he won't let you take it out. We know getting rid of them probably will be a struggle, but figure it's better than his fingers which he would be doing with out them.

The Baby Swing

David and I recently discovered the joys of the baby swing. My cousin Dani gave us her swing and I almost didn't take it because of space. As you can tell the pro's far out weigh the cons!

Wind Caves

We went on Will's first hike for Labor Day. Yup, we start em early! David so kindly packed the water, stuff and the baby because I could barely get my own self up the switchbacks! Talk about Labor Day! But besides my extended water break mid way through, we had a great time. We went with our friends Josh, Jenna, and Will's little girl friend Lily. The babies did so good the whole hike! Will slept most of the time causing a lot of sweat and heat between him and his Dad. We were all sweating a lot but we can't wait to hike again when it is cooler. The pathetic part is we stopped at Sonic on the way home and scarfed down hamburgers and soda!

Baby Shower

My baby shower in July was so much fun. We had it at my sister Kelli's house and all of my friends and family were there. I loved seeing everybody and having all the people I love in the same room. I hated to just sit and open presents because I just wanted to talk to everybody! One of the best parts was seeing all my cousins. I think everyone would could be there was. But, David and I are amazed at the generosity of so many people! People were so thoughtful of us and so giving. Let's just say Will doesn't need anything and will be well dressed. I got so many cute thing for the baby. Looking back at these pictures I'm so glad I'm not pregnant anymore and that Will is finally here! Thanks to everybody for their help with the shower and for being so thoughtful of us!
