Las Sendas

I love my camera! David and I had some extra time last Sunday so we went up to Las Sendas and put the Rebel to the test. Here are some favs!

Hail the Conquering Hero!

I finally did it! I conquered the homemade German Chocolate cake! I decided as a gift to my Dad ( and more to my mom) I would attempt this king of all cakes again. Thankfully it turned out and my Dad had a great birthday.

Duck Park

For Civil Rights Day, the whole Bodine Family got together at Indian Bend Wash. We had quite the group there. We had three tandem bikes, three babies, strollers, single bikes, and lots of food. We had a great time riding bikes and hanging out. Will especially loved being outside.

Midget Marathon

Unfortunatly for me, Will loves watching the TV. I figured for one night it would be ok.

Every year we have a movie marathon weekend with the Allen Family. This year's theme was movies with midgets in it. We ate a "small" meal and then watched selected scenes of midgets. Keaton brought some obscure movie with a cast entirely of midgets. We contributed 'Everafter'. It was nice just to be with the Allen family, but watching 30minutes of that Western midget movie did put me to sleep.

Hiking Diaries

Here is Will in his hiking Cadillac
Kolstad Family

This past weekend we took a little hiking outing with Kelli's and Bert's family. We hiked in Gold Canyon with all the kids. Our fancy hiking baby back pack took it's maiden voyage and Will loved it. He did so good the whole time and had quite the fancy ride. Even my nieces did great too. I think Sage gets the good hiker award along with her Dad Bert because he packed chunky little Faith most of the way. Oops, and another award to my wonder women sister for packing Jane the whole time. I'm too whimpy for that and enjoy the pace of my nieces! David loved hiking his little boy and felt like he is teaching Will the ways of the out doors.

25 years old

I had a great Birthday this year and can't believe I'm quarter of a century! David took me out to Claim Jumper while Grandma Sandy so thoughtfully came to baby sit.My favorite part of the day (besides eating that delicious cupcake) was getting phone calls from everyone I love. And, what's my birthday with out mentioning my mom's homemade German Chocolate Cake. Even though she was swamped, she still made one for me.

Millett's Cabin

We were so lucky to be able to go to the Millett's cabin this weekend with Bert and Kelli's family. We went on hikes, played games, relaxed, ate great food, and played with the nieces. The highlight was David attempting to do the splits in a game called Quelf. And, of course I went crazy with my new camera. Here some of my favs.
