Why do we go to church?

Dave had a really rough and tough daddy day at church yesterday. I led the music but Will kept coming up to bug me so at the start of the meeting he headed for the lobby. Will started whining about something and then proceeded to have a major meltdown which was heard through the entire first half of the meeting including the sacrament. Every time a deacon opened a door the cries were even more painstakingly loud! I fknow Will-you know how loud his fits can be.

After Will and I got settled into primary Allie somehow missed her diaper and leaked ALL over Dave-like a gallon. So-the poor guy had enough and went home, beside can you really stay at church covered in pee pee?

She fell asleep so Dave quickly took the ten minute drive to pick us up-thankfully the house didn't burn down and no one stole my baby. I'm starting to think my primary gig during church isn't looking so bad.

Central

I recently tagged along with my parents for a visit to Grandma Whitmers house in Central AZ. I've decided Thatcher is way easier to get great photos. My sweet Annie Lynn was being a great photo baby this weekend while my Alls was not. Will loved running in the fields and being around the family. I was glad the kids got to see their Great Grandma and it was a nice change from our everyday life. We also spent a good chunk of time in Mesa doing whatever we do. I was glad to get home to where my children sleep in a black out though!!!!

Anyone want to volunteer to be my maid?

Will just spread sunscreen all over the couch and himself. I've decided I've had enough and he just gets to live with he sunscreen hair all day. Here is whats been destroyed these past few days-

  • sprinkle container in the kitchen

  • beans from a bean bag all over the living room

  • cake mix in the kitchen

  • a gallon of water in the kitchen

  • a gallon of juice in the kitchen

  • a gallon of water in the kitchen (yes again!)

  • a box of baby food in the kitchen and family room

  • a tube of toothpaste (this was the worst-all over himself, the dog, and the couch)

  • ongoing potty accidents

  • constant hitting and pushing of the baby sister

Since David isn't around very much I had to complain somewhere right? You may be wondering why I don't have more locks. But the reality is I do and then he breaks them or pounces every chance he gets.

I've decided this age of his is not my favorite-I think I much preferred the screaming baby-but wait-he still does that too? We majorly need a break from each other, Grandma and Grandpa here we come! Mexico is just way to close to my house and makes it tempting to just ship him across the border.
