Love This One!

First Bath

Allie has started to enjoy her bath at night lately. She usually is pretty calm and just enjoys the warm water. My friend gave us this cute duckie towel and every night I just think she is the cutest thing I've ever seen. Allie also likes getting her hair combed-just like a girl. I think this is my favorite time to hold her. She's clean, feels better, and smells better. Lately I've been putting her in some of my nieces old baby pjs and she looks so warm and cozy!

William the Trouble Maker!

Don't let this precious picture fool you. Between kisses Will has been pouncing, smushing, hitting, kicking, pulling, ect. and we are surprised that Allie still seems perfectly healthy. It's all part of adjustments but this week I finally got smart, put locks on the doors, moved the swing to an even higher location, and keep putting Will in time out a million times a day no matter what I'm in the middle of doing.
This picture just makes me laugh because these 2 monkeys look like such trouble! Will got to spend the day with his cousin Grant a little while ago and they make quite the pair lately! Gotta love these rascals!

William's Adventures

Will has had a fantastic couple of weeks! He has gotten to play at lots of friends and cousin's houses. When Allie was born my parents came for 5 days and completely entertained him and took him all over Yuma. Then he got to spend time with Grandma Kolstad, Kolstad cousins, cousin Grant, and topped it all off by sleeping over with Auntie Kasey and her dog Scout! He had a great trip and it was SO nice to spend some time with my little Allison and with Dave. Kasey and Tyler then brought Will back and stayed for the weekend. I loved having them around! Thank you everyone!
I made Jacob a sock monkey and figured since it came with 2 pairs, I would make Will one as a gift to have since the baby was here. I thought it turned out pretty darn cute!
The past few days he has been playing with neighborhood friends, giving kisses to Allie, and trying to be patient while I nurse/change/burp/ect. What a lucky boy!

Baby Girl Is Here!

On Thursday September 2nd our sweet little girl was born. I was so thrilled at the thought of having a baby girl and the perfect delivery that we had -that I decided David's name choice of Allison Whitney Kolstad would be perfect. She was 7lbs 12 oz and 20 inches long. She has the most gorgeous dark hair like her Dad and so far is showing signs of looking more like her Dad. She is an angel and we are so glad to have her here.
Will is a big brother! He was so adorable meeting Allison and hasn't stopped giving her kisses. It makes my heart melt in between my heart being scared for her getting squashed by him. He seems so big compared to her and I can't believe how my first baby is all grown up! Can't we just freeze time! Will has had a lot of adventures lately with relatives being around and will have to get his own post for all his fun times!

We are a family of 4 now! I can't believe I'm old enough for all of this! Heavenly Father has blessed us so much. I'm so grateful for my little family! Is there anything more wonderful in this life-no way! (I just hope I can remember that when I start having melt downs because of sleep deprivation, crying children, and a dirty house! Someone remind me ok?) My wonderful parents spent all weekend with us and it made our special time even more special. I cryed when they left I was so grateful for them. To top everything off I chatted my my sister Kelli at home with her new baby all weekend as well as Auntie Kasey who is busting with pride for her 2 "twins" as she calls them!

Jacob Randall Millett

My dear sister had her baby! This week I was so sad we lived far away! Aren't these the cutest big sisters ever! I'm so excited to meet my new nephew Jacob and see his blond head of hair! How sweet!

The Doctor's

Ever since the day he was born Will has been TERRIBLE at any doctor's office. Yesterday was no exception. He had to get his blood drawn twice because I couldn't hold his trashing arms still enough. He goes berserk even just to have someone in scrubs walk in the room. I was especially traumatized yesterday so I decided a trip to Dairy Queen was appropriate. We all felt better after a little soft serve.
