September

Holly wanted bangs-so I cut some! She looks so grown up!
Micah arranged a tickets to the Bobby McFerrin concerts. It was cool, odd, weird, fun, enjoyable-all at the same time. Bert is convinced they all had used substances before the concert! He took questions and I got picked! I asked him what his favorite song was (Lucas' idea) and he said he didn't know-but then busted out Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring1 Cool Beans!

We went to the ward campout-we sat around and talked the whole time with ward friends-something I'm not used to! I hardly talked to Dave-he was off talking too. The kids had a blast running all over with their friends. We had spent some time with the Heatons, and the very next day Bro. Heaton was made Bishop. I played piano for Calli, and it was a very special meeting. David felt a strong witness of Bishop Heaton's new calling. I love the Heatons to death and have now for a while, we will pray for their wonderful family these next few years.

Allison's Baptism

Our Allie Angel was baptized yesterday. She is incredibly special to us and is a light to our family. Her day yesterday was very special, and I felt a sweet spirit there. He WHOLE family was there, not one one missing. And-there were so many of her friends and ward members there as well. She was glowing! She shared her day with a lot of other kids in the stake, including Matthew and Brigdon form our ward. They sang "I'll Follow Him in Faith" together.  This is another one of those days in my life-super special, like you feel Heaven so close by. I'm so proud of my sweet girl and am grateful to her wonderful Dad to baptize her.

My Missionaries

My parents recieved there mission call to serve at pulic relations missionaries in Birmingham England. They report Janurary 22nd. It is very exciting to have another missionary in the family, and exciting that it's my mom and dad. My Mom is super pumped, my Dad is happy to go along with my Mom. I'm going to miss them desperatly, but am excited for all the things that go along with having a missionary. I've left my mom a times for Dave's nursing school and to go to EA, but she's neve left me so the tables are turning. I'm gonna cry when they leave but I know our family will be blessed. And, there are 6 of us kids-we know how to watch out for eachother and we will. Holly cried the night they opened their call-the same day as Allison's 8th birthday. I tired to explain we will still get to talk to them, write them, and they might even come home to visit half way.
My heart so greatly desires for David and I to go to England, but he keeps telling me we can't spend money on that because we need to throw everything we have into school. School stinks! I need to have a hear to heart with him and see. If we can't both go then maybe I'll just go with Micah? Or not go at all which is lame. Not sure yet, if Trell can find me a super cheap flight I just might go.

Real Life

The kids took this picture of Dave and I passed out on the couch. I thought it was evidence of true life over here. David took William hunting and he shot his first dove. Even though I don't enjoy hunting, I'm so glad that William has this special time with his Dad-love that! Dave always hunts without William, so it was so nice that hunting for once was a family thing for them. He's a great Dad and I'm so glad that William has a great Dad and that Dad has a son.

Holly lost another tooth-my baby! She lost it in the middle of Broadway Kids and was super excited. Dave was working so the tooth fairy could not go to bed like usual, but she did deliver (when other times she has forgotten!) Holly has be big girl tooth growing in behind it, so it was a much needed loss. Both my girls are going to need braces bad-I can already tell. We better start saving out pennies!

Allie's Birthday

Allisoon turned 8! I just think she is the most beautiful person and have thought that since the second I saw her. She has such a beautiful inner light. I'll admitt though-she has been really emotional this year-once again something bad I passed down to my kids. I'm hopinig it's just because it's her baptism year and Satan is trying to get at her.

She had a three day celebration! She wanted to go to Feed My Starving Children so we did and it was great! They gave her a t-shirt and everybody sang Happy Birthday! We had a fun date night together too, I took her to eat and then to take pictures for a friend and she was my helper-she loved the one on one attention.

We gave her butterflies to grow but the caterpillars were dead when they arrived in the mail-she had a major meltdown. But we re-ordered them in a couple of week hopefully when it's a little cooler.

Her baptism is in a couple a weeks and we couldn't be more proud. She was nervous for her Bishop's interview. When we got there the little boy also getting interviewed went in before us and was in and out under 10 minutes. She went in with Bishop Clement, 10 minutes passed, 20 passed, 30 passed and I thought "oh dear what is going on in there!" after 35 minutes she came out and bother her and the Bishop were smiling and laughing. She has told him EVERTHING and they had a great time talking together. He said they did spend one minute or two talking about baptism! So funny.
