Splash Pad

We went to Tempe's Splash Pad the other day and much to our surprise, our kids didn't last very long at all. They had much more fun flying the plane with Dad. Oh well, Allie enjoyed herself the most but Will and Holly weren't too excited, what's wrong with them!

Summer Swimming!

Wow we go swimming every day! When David is not home I try to avoid it because it would be nice to have my hair done for 1 day during the week. William is swimming SO great for only a few weeks. Allie isn't screaming any more which is huge improvements for us, and Holly is a definite safety hazard to herself. We swim with cousins, ward friends, and anybody we can get to come over. Even Grandpa Butch has swam a couple of times! Shocking I know!

Father's Day

I hope David had a wonderful Father's Day. He wasn't working this year, we were all very pleased! We made a yummy breakfast and gave him a few gifts (including fireworks) Will sang 2 songs, let him take a nap, I had no church meetings, and then we ate ribs at his parents house.

David is the best father ever! The kids love him. Actually Allie frequently prefers him to me these days and Will and Dave have a special boy bond going. Holly and Dave like to cuddle on the recliner together. What an amazing Dad my kids have! He plays, loves, teaches, disciplines all together.

Of course my Dad is a great man as well.(he raised me right? Ha ha!) Every day I see myself turning into my mom more, but my Dad for sure is a HUGE part of everything good I hope to be! Happy Father's Day!

Happy Mother's Day-To Me!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. My husband and kids treated me like royalty, I didn't have any church meetings, and I got the best gift I could have asked for-a long nap. David and I spoke in sacrament meeting and he gave a wonderful talk about how men can support the women in their lives. My parents came and sat by the kids-which also was a fabulous gift to me. I love all the women around me who are mothers-either to their own kids or to others. I'm so grateful to have 3 blessings in my own life who call me mom. Aren't they so cute? Even Allie with her new hair cut. Love them!

Easter Memories

I found these photos from this past Easter. Our attempt at getting a family Easter picture turned out to be pretty pathetic, although lots of effort was put forth. We ate seriously TONS of ribs with the Bodine side and my Mom's put together a huge egg hunt. The kids were so pumped up and excited and we adults were all stuffed to the max.
