3 Years Old Diaries

After a very long year of potty training, I was confident Will finally was 90% independent on the potty. Just kidding! We've been have accidents multiple times a day! He even makes a mess before I can manage to get clean pants back on him. What is going on! I'm going to have 3 messes to clean up soon, oh dear!

We've been talking a lot about how the new baby is inside my tummy. The other day Will said, "When I was a baby I popped out of your tummy and went to the monster truck show!" He's very excited to attend the monster truck show in a couple of weeks.

Will also has been exploring every inch of my parents house. The latch on the dryer is broken and Will has been warned MANY times to stay out because it will bite him. The other day when I was loading the dishes I thought he was quietly playing in the toy room-wrong. I heard sudden screaming and then thought maybe I should check it out. I found him in the laundry room under a pile of wet sheets completely tangled. But, mostly his arm was twisted up so bad I thought it was broken. I began screaming for my dad and after a few minutes was able to get him untangled-but of course he was majorly freaking out. He was fine and then my mom came in. After telling the story of him getting into the dryer we all started cracking up. Will did not find it as humorous. I had to write this one down, what a little monkey he is. He hasn't played with the dryer since.

I've been reading in 3 Nephi when Christ comes to Will at night. Yesterday morning we woke up and the first thing he said to me was "Mommy, I dreamed about Jesus and I felt his hands and his heart". David and I thought that was pretty sweet and for short glimpse I thought that maybe I'm doing at least one thing right as a mom.

Dating is Fun!

David and I have spent more time together these past few weeks than we have in almost 3 years and it's been wonderful! I love this guy! Between our birthdays, graduation, and the holidays we have had tons of dates and going out (thanks to our family and friends!) It has been so fun I don't want it to end! Does he really have to get a full time job?

We had such wonderful birthdays! We went out to eat, movies, shopping, and who knows what else. I got a pedicure (and a pedicure to save) and we each got some much needed items for our very sorry wardrobe!

We miss our Yuma friends dearly but have really loved being around family and living with Mom and Dad-they are wonderful help and they still love our screaming children!

PS-1 week till baby is due! Hopefully she'll come today!
