FHE

Allie was so funny last night during FHE. We play a little game that we act out animals and guess what the person is acting out. She was hopping around and we had no idea what she was-when we said we give up she said "kangaroo!" I had no idea how smart she was. Another turn she did a very slow summer sault-I think she said it was  a turtle. She totally understands the game and delivered wonderful performances of obscure animals. She also taught the lesson using a little book she made in primary-so cute.

Holly is STILL not sleeping through the night, not by any lack of effort of my own. 2or 3 times she is up and pooping her pants!  I'm so sleepy I think she is just going to have to scream it out tonight. Last night I said to Dave "I can't get up with her anymore, so do you want me to wake you up to help or do you want me to let her scream for hours on end" He quickly replied "Don't wake me up" Sorry Holly-hope you don't go hoarse like the last 50 times you've screamed it out!

Will is still Will. He has a great life.  Playgroup, playschool, cousings, park outings, friends, primary, shows when mommy takes a nap and lately a zillion girl scout cookies. He recently got a couple of transformers and they never leave his side. He plays this game with Allie called "Evil Holly" where they run hide from Holly. He's turning into a really good boy.

I have to write this story down before I forget it. My sister Kelli lent William a pair of spider man under wear. He loves them!!! I don't think Kelli is getting them back. Well we have modesty issue at our house and they ended up in the backyard when Will proceeded to fling them over the neighbors fence. He was distraught. Dave meant to go ask the neighbor for them but forgot. The other day Will came into the house so excited and happy! He told me someone threw them back over the fence! He said "Thanks!" and they said "You are welcome". Nothin says neighborly love like throwing your dirty underwear back over the fence.

I've created a monster. I few weeks ago I let Allie try on Kelli's Snow White costume. She LOVED it! She had a major melt down when we took it off. I've also been letting her watch a TON of Cinderella and she has become majorly obsessed with the princesses. She insists on wearing her princesses nightgown all day, asks to watch princess movies, and everything in between. In fact she is crying in her crib right now asking for "Cinderlly!" You think the Cinderlla coloring book would be enough for her to poop on the potty-but so far no luck there!

So Much Happening

Here's the update over the last little while at the Kolstads. A while back Davy and I hiked Weaver's Needle. Is was so nice to get out into the fresh air, have a break from the kids, and be with my hubby-he's very nice to me as I am a much slower hiker than him.
Our Holly has been into my dishwasher. She comes flying every time it is opened. She also has learned how to walk! She is so small walking around here and was walking before her birthday.
On my birthday Kelli and I went hiking and Kasey watched the kids. Once again-getting out into fresh air without my kids-very nice. I also needed the exercise. I'm way out of shape but have lost 10 lbs recently. I still have  a long way to go. My birthday ended with a dinner trip to Zuppas with the gals. It was a great day.
William has discovered how to use the camera. Let's just say we have a lot of pictures of nothing. Here is his self portrait, Batman Hat included.

Holly turned 1 year old! I can't believe it. We had our grandparents come over, did cake, presents, and sat by the fire. It was low key and perfect. We gave Holly some sipee cups for her present-how exciting. She didn't really dive into her Rainbow Cake. Once she got past the icing she starting liking it more though. I sure do love our sweet Holly Baby. Her face is the cutest thing I've ever seen. She is smart but has a good nature. Happy Birthday!
