This past year Allison has been having emotional breakdowns at bed time, probably 3 times a week. Last night, she was crying in her bed about everything horrible that happened to her. Then she said "and I don't like my name. My name is not cool at all. And Holly has a super famous name." "Oh she does?" "Ya, Mom! Hollywood!"
Anyway, I had to go get my phone and show her famous people with the name Allison and all the cities that are named Allison. It made her feel better.

Jan-Feb-March
Allison has been learning how to ride without training wheels. She has a pretty good crash into a parked car because she is scared to ride on the sidewalk. Now-we are happy to report she is riding on her own-completely! She is feeling so proud and confident. We just have to start on Holly now!
Another fuse show
Beth had another baby! I got to visit her in the hospital
William had a crash on his scooter, he has a tiny scar that I think will last his whole life through. Man, trips to and from school have been dangerous for us.
Construction. We've had pool problems for as long as I can remember living in this house. Well, it's finally going down. The massive pool project of re-piping and getting new equipment. Let's just say, repairs have cost more than my car. One bright light is that Dave got to rent a tractor!
I went with William on his 3rd grade field trip. I got claustrophobic in the cave and shack, but other than that the kids had a great time.
The kids went swimming as soon as the pool was filled up. Freezing!
So much going on these past few months. Dave got accepted to Nurse Practitioner School! EEEEK! He starts in September. In preparation for that he picked up another full time job-yes that's correct-two full time jobs. He's hoping to save some money to pay for school. So far, it's been going to the pool. He has been incredibly busy, so many projects around the house also.
I also have been extremely busy. I started working for Bert getting his new law firm Orangewood Law going. I've been subbing a lot too. But-I've been struggling a little with depression and anxiety-so I'm trying to cut back. I've been working on balance in my life, keeping positive thoughts, and taking time for myself. It's been going good-I'm just trying to keep it going. I'm trying to build my strength up for what Dave is doing now, and what he will be doing when school starts. Just trying to put faith in Christ daily, say no to things that don't matter, being ok doing little acts of service, and be grateful and happy along the way! That what life's about right?
40th Anniversary
My parents will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary this year! Wow! I am so grateful for them and their strong marriage! They sponsored a California trip for us all and it was wonderful in everyway. We dinner a super fancy dinner on the Queen Mary, and day on Catalina Island (the boat ride was AWEFUL but the electric bike ride was a blast!), the beach, and Universal Studios (Dave rode the rides till the bitter end!).
Viva Las Vegas!
Girls trip! For a LONG time Kelli and I have been planning on seeing Celine Dion in Vegas! Well, we finally got it all coordinated-then she cancelled her show!!!!! I'm over it, but it was pretty sad as we all drove the 5 hours to Vegas. But-we had a blast!!!!!! We went to an AWESOME buffet at the Winn and then saw a Michael Jackson impersonator! Hilarious! He was sooo good! The next day we all took circus lessons-ummm-pretty funny as we all tried to float in the air. We finished off our circus bug by seeing the Circ de Sole. It was MIND BLOWING! I want to go again really bad! Along the was we rode a scary roller coaster, had tons of good snacks, and some silly times at our hotel. I was exhausted! Such a fun memory with all my sissies.
Holidays
December! Busy Busy Busy! I subbed ton! I've been sick with everything you can imagine, this years flu hit all of us and it was REALLY bad! Ya, I was pretty stressed. But I do LOVE that we get to focus on our Savior and his love is found everyday in this month. Love that!
We did Polar Express for our FUSE Christmas show.
David's 35th birthday
We got rid of Daisy right before Christmas-there was many tears-and still is! I actually miss her at times. My allergies were terrible, their was hair everywhere, and no body took care of her but me-so obviously it was necessary. I had to take the kids and leave so that Dave could sell her. I desperately miss her for William's sake-because now all his wrestling energy is being directed as his sisters!
A new Star Wars came out right before Christmas. Dave and I were cool parents and let Will stay home from school so we could all go together.
Happy New Year! We hope 2018 will be just as great as 2017!
Holly had her 6th birthday at Duck Park with the whole family. She also chose to eat at Don Jose which made my tummy happy! She is such a happy and joyful girl-how I love having her in my home.
Disneyland
Our 10th Anniversary was kinda lame last year, so Dave completely made it up to me on our 11th by taking me to Disneyland-without our kids! We had the BEST time! We flew through the park-did everything we wanted to and enjoyed every minute-although we were exhausted! It was Christmas time and oh so fun!
