Meet Bubbles Kolstad

We are now proud pet owners! Since a dog wasn't quite feasible we decided a cheap fish would be perfect since it doesn't require much care and if it dies oh well! We've had him for 3 weeks now and are still shocked to find him alive everyday! Will loves watching him and feeding him. He actually picked his name out too! (that's one of the words he says, Bubbles!)

Home Sweet Home

Will and I left David once again for a long Mesa trip. We missed him but also had a GREAT time! I think this was my first Mesa trip that I actually got enough time hanging out with my sisters! Bert started expecting me for dinner every night! I loved seeing my family and friends every day and Will loved playing with his cousins.
We got to spend some time with my dear friend Lacey and Will actually started to warm up to her! It was a breakthrough! I think she is the cutest friend ever and I can't wait for her trip to Yuma and out hopefully fun girl trip in a few months!
We went swimming a few times and my little fish from last summer seemed to hate the water this summer. Despite his requests Aunt Kasey took him down the Millett's slide and screamed! Go Aunt Kasey! I also love seeing my dear nieces, they are so big! and such good cousins to Will. Bert and Will had some "bonding" time but I don't think it went as well as he had hoped.
We also got to see Grandma Sandy and hang out a lot with Grandpa and Grandma Bodine. Wow what a lucky little boy Will is!

We Have a Missionary!

My little brother Lucas left on his Mission this week to Canada. My link to his blog gives all his mission info if anyone wants to write. I can't believe how old and grown up he is! I realized when I called him to say goodbye I was still calling him buddy. What an outstanding young guy he is and he will do great on the mission! His testimony and strengthened mine especially lately and I'm so excited to have such a cute brother be a missionary! It was nice being in Mesa with him the week before he left. Will and him got some good bonding time in. When he comes back William will be 4 and our baby girl will be 2! We love you Luke and will miss you!

Payson Get Away

My whole family got to spend a long weekend at the Millett cabin together and it was so lovely! It was great to get away and feel like we had a vacation. Of course right before we left something had to happen though! David got a corneal abrasion and we had to make a Dr. visit in Mesa. I busted out my finest pirate jokes and we taught Will to say "Rrrrrr!" The funny thing is we think Will scratched Dave's eye and was the root of the problem. But, the patch came off fast and it didn't keep my speedy boy from getting behind the wheel all weekend.
The water hole we went to was FREEZING! Will wasn't too pleased with swimming but I got brave enough to jump in and Bert was brave enough to throw Kasey in. TK somehow managed to keep catching fish and my Dad took Sage exploring. Sounds like a typical Bodine outing huh?
Tyler celebrated his birthday at the cabin and we all enjoyed the fruits of Steph's labor by eating cake! He also celebrated by taking a trip to fossil springs with all the boys (plus Mom!) David finally got to do something outdoorsy and all us pregnant ladies hung out with the kidies at the cabin. The funny thing is by the time we all had naps and got the kids fed, we really didn't do anything all day!We took shifts going to see the Gila Valley Temple Dedication and here is the whole gang (minus Sage my photography pupil taking the picture, not bad for a 6 year old eh?) Thanks Millett's for sharing your cabin and Mom and Kelli for planning it all! We had a great time!
