Moab, UT

Dave wanted to hike the Grand Canyono for his 40th BDay, but decided last minte he didn't prepare enough physically-so he cancelled the trip but still had 5 days off and offered to take us on a trip instead. Moab UT has been on my list for a while now-and we did it!

We first made a detour to the four corners. Out of the way-but good for once in a lifetime.

The Colorado River

Arches National Park was just stunning to see. So many arches! We woke up very early and did the Delicate Arch which was probably the most impressive. The kids didn't particually enjoy hiking so much, the complaining was minimal and I was proud of them.

We also explored Dead Horse State Park and Canyonlands National Park.

Overall a great trip! I was so tired both days after hiking-I passes out at 8pm. It was nice to get away from everyday life and task-and spend some time just being together!

Easter, Concerts, Eating, ect.

The girls made Mes Youth People's Orchestra! I was so proud of them. They hated it-but I think felt great at the perfomance. They got to play in the Mesa Arts Center. And I'm just so proud of them.

Easter Sunday. David was working.

The girls love having friends over, and on this particular day-we had them ALL over.

This is my music friend Sarah. We've been struggling through music theory together all year. I'm constanly asking her what she got on her problems. It's been fun making a new friend and having a study buddy. This last semester was a lot, and challending. But I made it through. I have been very grateful to be learning! And doing something for myself. It's been up, down, and all around but it's been good.

Easter Pageant.

We had an overnight lake get away with thet Millett's on their new boat.  It was freezing-but I did manage to get in the water once.  The kids had a blast tubing and now we have a glimpse of what lake Powell will be this summer.

Well, when glasses hits-it hits everyone. Holly got glasses too! Now both the girls can see the board and school.

Sister lunch.

When the boys went to Father's sons, we went to Coscto.

Baby Luke

Baby Luke was born in March. I just love having another baby in the family. He is so sweet.

Volleyball and Gary

Will decided to get rid of Gary because he was tired of taking care of him. So, Uncle Micah found a co-worker wanting to take him! Bye Gary!

Will has been playing volleyball at YMCA this year. His team did really well during one season. He's been getting better and I think is the best one on his team.

Friday lunches. We neer can agree of what to eat-so sometimes we go one place for him, and another for me. Then we watch Pysch at home while I pass out on the couch.

Fuse it Up

We have been up to a lot of performing arts this Spring. We just got back from Disneyland wih Fuse and had a great time together. These girls insisted on a 12:30am churro on the last night of the park. I was pretty grumpy-but they were still so happy!

We ate, ate, and ate again!

Honk! It was busy-everyday at the theater-but wonderful. Allie's dream came true when she got cast as the bullfrog-she was just the funniest, best, bullfrog I've ever seen. And Holly got to be a super cute but snotty duckling-I was suprised how mean she got! Sign of a good actress! This story just gave us the laughter and the feels every night. My girls knocked it out of the park everynight.

When you do a show, you spend much time with a set of people. Stephanie, Calli, and Sandy. Positive, happy, wonderful people. It was a blessing. We cried, laughed, danced, hugged-and drank much caffine together.

Spring showcases. Its been an adjustment for me moving to the older showchoirs,  but also great in alot of ways.
