Embarassing Moments
So a couple weeks ago we had the missionaries over for dinner. Allie sat close by the missionaries insisting on wearing her huge tutu. Well during a slight pause in the conversation we all heard splashing water-we all start looking around and Dave says "Who's peein!?" it was was Allie. Yup she peed like a gallon and we heard all of it splash on the ground! Then Dave exclaims "Not it!" I am completely mortified! But the missionaries just start laughing. I clean everything up and finally return to the table-not that anyone still has an appetite. We have another slight pause in the conversation-and Will rips a huge one! Now I'm completely officially mortified. Ya, the laughing is hysterical now. After dinner and a message-Will ripped another one right before the prayer-really? We are the family that missionaries right home to their mothers about!
Sister outings
Love my sisters! We went out to eat for Kasey's 25th and it was delicious! Kasey and Kelli almost ordered everything on the menu! My "gifts" seriously were the best! Giving Kasey the necklace she gave to me for my birthday which she was given in the first place, her flash drive that Bert gave to me to give to her, and finally an intact Bodine family cookbook.Love to go out with out the kids.
But we love to go with the kids too! We got brave and took them all to the museum for Youth-classic Mesa spot. Annie was terrible-as predicted, Jane and William played together, and no body ate their lunch. But-all had a great time. I was so glad Holly stayed home with David making it slightly easier to manage the running kiddos.
Allie's Hair
So Allie has the thinnest hair ever. And it's very straight-just like mine. The girl rips out every rubber band, headband, clip or bow I put in and she looks like a rag muffin everyday. Thankfully my best friend is Lacey the hair miracle worker. Well, Allie has been getting used to Lacey coming over to do her hair. A while ago Allie kept saying "I want Lacey to cut my hair" She told me everyday for a week! I finally had Lace come over and help tame the mane!
Here's Allie today. Smeared play dough in the hair. I don't think she is showing much gratitude for Lacey's totally cute bob cut! Picking the play dough out wasn't working but the bath and some soap did wonders!
Easter 2013
I took Will to the Easter Pageant this year and he actually got it! He was so excited and could hardly sit still but between sitting on my lap and holding his binocs, he did great. He still talks about the things he saw. We attended with the Milletts and I loved seeing it too! It had been many years!
The Easter bunny came this year. He brought underwear and a book-wow this Easter bunny is a lot like my mom's Easter Bunny. David was home and the kids were crying during our Easter picture-how sad.
