October

Bodine Boo Bash.

Ethan sang in church again-so cute is he!

The stepsisters. These dress took so much hassle and time.I was cursing inside every day I sewed! I keps sewing things the wrong direction of things together on accident! But oh did they look adorable.

Fuse Halloween Show

My High Fitness friends. I have missed working out with them because of school EVERY morning! Hopefully next year I'll be back.

Fall Break

We did a super short trip to San Diego-but still had a great time. We actually had a blast at Sea World again! The boys finished up the week at Mountain Man-and Dave was glad when it was over.

All the Things

There has been much sand volleyball happening. This is Max, Rulon, and Will. Will also started club volleyball. He warmed the seat for a while because of his torn ligament, but now he is finally playing again.

All of my kids had stuff on Labor Day-but I took the jet ski via Lucas and went to Apache Lake with my brothers and the Milletts. Fun day.

Daddy daughter

Will's been riding all over in Rayder's car. I was sad he didn't want to having with me when the girls were at Daddy Daughter-so I went with him and Rayder!

This was LONG over due. I got a better piano. I love that it's black, I love that it is shiny, I love the action and feel, I love that it sounds bright, and love that it's in tune without sticky keys.

Junie B. Jones. Bus drivers and school girls.

First Day Madness

Normally I rejoice the first day of school, and immediately start cleaning the whole house-then proceed to take a nice uninterrupted nap-but today was just madness. The past 2 or 3 days have been madness sending emails, making calls, getting supplies-figuring out everything.

Dave started demoing our bathroom-down to one now for a week or two-dust, chemicals, dumpster load-and we selected tile today (still in my car btw)

Will started high school today, had to figure a LOT of stuff out and he had volleyball tonight-he is just pooped, couldn’t figure out the bus home, wasn’t on the seminary list, didn’t have a student ID, he was a little late to a hour, and begun to figure out sand volleyball-I’ve never seen him so mentally exhausted

Allie started junior high today-with a broken leg-had to go early, stay late, figure out accommodations-but she loves her teachers and classes

We had to rearrange cars because of the demo, but Daves car kinda broke apart as I dropped off one kid and had to go get another.

Holly was nervous today so I got her off and picked her up

I got each kid off at a different time, and collected each kid at a different time-including the handicap situation, did volleyball, violin, ran errands

What a day! I hope this settles down for us all! I’m so done!

Can we go back to vacation?

May Days

Holly's first cello recital with Ms. Andrea. We love her, Holly has gotten really good at the cello!

Irving orchestra concert. Allie's teacher let her do a long big solo! She did great!

Irving talent show. They asked if they could do the talent show, an dI said yes as long as they managed it all-and they did! Even made up the skits with their friends!

Will's YMCA volleyball team, he's on to the high school level now!

My very last Fuse show as an instructor. The girls had a blast. I decided to quit Fuse next year to make sure I'm available for William and to make sure I have time for school. I struggled with the decsion, but at Talent Explosion I knew it was the right choice. I can't believe I didn't catch a photo! This was it! The girls did awesome as always and the kids had fun, so mission accomplished.

Cousin Faith's piano recital. I'm oh so proud of my Faith. My own girls should have practiced better! But they are progressing on the piano hooray!

Baby Luke's blessing day.

My peanut has graduated. She is just a wonderful young gal and I'm so proud of her and love her soooooo much! I'm glad shes hanging around Mesa because if her and Sage were both gone-I'd be so sad.

Goodbye Lumos Arts Academy! Will finished 8th grade.

Holly and Jade have been on the church singing circuit. They are the cutest and I hope they'll sing together forever.

Paddleboarding the river with Micah. We only each ran into the reeds once, so trip successful.

6th grade graduation. Goodbye Irving! Onto Taylor Junior!

Moab, UT

Dave wanted to hike the Grand Canyono for his 40th BDay, but decided last minte he didn't prepare enough physically-so he cancelled the trip but still had 5 days off and offered to take us on a trip instead. Moab UT has been on my list for a while now-and we did it!

We first made a detour to the four corners. Out of the way-but good for once in a lifetime.

The Colorado River

Arches National Park was just stunning to see. So many arches! We woke up very early and did the Delicate Arch which was probably the most impressive. The kids didn't particually enjoy hiking so much, the complaining was minimal and I was proud of them.

We also explored Dead Horse State Park and Canyonlands National Park.

Overall a great trip! I was so tired both days after hiking-I passes out at 8pm. It was nice to get away from everyday life and task-and spend some time just being together!
