When the shut down started-I was so excited to get some things done around the house! And boy did I. Then I tired myself out and quit. Last week we all started to get a little board around here, I literally started dreaming about all the things I could do to the house phase two. Well-I'm tired again and have been ignoring my children for a week. I'm regretting this second undertaking-but it's keeping me busy and the house will look great in the end. I've almost cried only a few times but haven't had a break down yet.
Here's the things I've done since the shut down...
1)painted picnic table
2)painted play house
3)helped Dave prep for the pavers-sprayed all the weeds in both yards literally 4 different times
4)planted new flowers in the front and back
5)dug our planters out front-planted new bushed with Dave
6)painted a fan
7)patched, caulked and painted the crown molding in the kitchen and halls
8)patched, caulked and painted the base boards in the kitchen and halls
9)re-caulked and deep cleaned my terrible shower
10)Re Modeled my whole bathroom-floors, fixtures, vanity, mirror-I I did this all under 100 bucks!
11)painted my bathroom door, closet door, bedroom door, girls room door-and matching door jams.
12)I just finished painting the girls room base boards, closet door, and walls. I waiting for Dave now to hang the crown molding. The girls room is literally in my living room-and the kids are sleeping in the family room all week now.
13)Next up-when I regain energy I still have 2 doors to do.
Few! I'm exhausted just thinking about this list-time for a vacation at the beach-wait-all the beaches are closed still!

Camping
We are still at home, some things are beginning to open up slowly but with sanitation restrictions. But-we took a lovely camping trip to Black Lake on the rim during David's one week off of school. He felt so relaxed and it was a much needed change of scenery for us. Wild horses and deer walked right through our camp. The weather was perfect the food was yummy. I taught Allison a little uke and we played risk until half of us quit and Dad started taking us all down.
We've borrowed a hamster for fun and now we are hitting up other people. This is Ty and Steph's dog Speatzal. She is so sweet, so good, so cute. Grace had a hard time parting with her-but we returned her safe and sound. We just loved having her. Next we are going to borrow Kim's dog.
We had cousin's fun day here at our house and did an un-birthday part and water games. It was a zoo let me tell ya. But-this week it's not our turn and the kids will get to go have fun elsewhere!
