Happy Vetern's Day

Talk about an long Veteran's Day. I decided to tag along with my sister and her three girls to go see Lucas perform in the Mesa's Veteran's Day Parade. I love parades! Will decided big time that he did not want to be there. Pretty much from the time we left from the time we got home he cried like the world had just ended. Yup, it was a grand total of about 3 hours and I was well aware of every minute. Here he is with his Aunt Kelli during a 10 minute recharge nap, just to wake up crying again! Cousin Jane was nice enough to let us borrow her pink hat so Will wouldn't have the sun in his eyes. I think this is the first time he has worn pink! (shh, don't tell David!) Thanks Baby Jane!

The parts of the parade I did see was really great! The Toro Band was the best one there ( no surprise here) and Lucas looked great marching! I also enjoyed the Karate group, the old Veteran's driving in cars, and my friend Laura's dance group.

David and I have a friend who recently got back from serving a tour in Iraq. He is a great guy and loves his country. We love you Lance!

Hey Cutie!
It's so good to run into you. I saw your Sis the other day @ a Stake leadership meeting, but i don't think she recognized me.
You look so good & your little boy is adorable!
