Summer Changes

 

Well, the summer of 2012 is definatly going to be a big one for us, starting with the mini van. David finally had the will power to say goodbye to his motorcycle and get something WAY more useful, practical, and convieant-a mini van. We SO do not feel cool in this car, but at least it has air, can fit our whole family, and so far is running.

Will started swimming lesson at Kino. He screamed the first day but now LOVES it. Swimming skills is a must in AZ so I hope he learns quick so I can have at least one kid who can swim by themselves. He likes to wave to me from the other side of the pool.

And the biggest thing to happen-the house. Unless something crazy happens we are buying our first house (please don't judge the ugly landscaping). Is it everything I wanted?of course not! But our family needs a place to live and this will be a decent home for us for at least a few years. David finally realized that there will be plenty of fixing up projects in a house that is nice, and I had to let go of my dream of living close to family because it wasn't happening. I really would be waiting for a year probably- (but the dream lives on-next house for sure!)
