Cute Kiddos

I've been really enjoying my kiddos lately, we got a pogo pass and have been on a couple of outings with just me and the kids and have had a great time together. Also, I would say Holly is officially and finally potty trained-having no diapers or accidents is making a whole new world of mothering for me. I just wanted to write down a few of the the cute and wonderful things my kids are, before I forget to write them down.

Holly 4

  • Her cheeks-they are chubby
  • When she smiles-he eyes smile with her
  • She loves her brother and sister, to play with them, look up to them. But, she also likes her alone time with me or is always content to be the baby when Allison and William are playing together. She loves being the baby still. For example, she loves to let me push her in the stroller and has no shame. Maybe this is why potty training took so long?
  • She is a singer! She sings out loud and strong! She also loves to dance to whatever music is on at the time
  • She is a little fiery at times. She definitely knows what she wants sometimes, but I hope and think this will turn into determination.
  • She likes to cuddle with me. Although I'm excited for she doesn't wrestle all over me when she crawls in bed, I will miss it. She still just loves to be held by me for no reason. She insists on being the one to always sit on my lap.
  • She loves primary-she is seriously the cutest sunbeam I've ever seen, and she always sits right in front so she can see whats going on.
  • She has goofy laugh sometimes and giggles
  • She has an adventurous side. She loves to climb up high and was so excited about the roller coasters at a park we went to the other day.
  • She loves her Daddy so much and loves being tickled by him.

Allison 5

  • He dimples in her cheeks, people have mentioned to me how cute they are-and they are
  • She loves to sing. Many times at night when I tuck everyone in, Allison lays in her bed just singing away. Sometimes we sing together at the piano or in her bed. This is one of my most favorite things in the whole world. She is shy about it to other people, but I hope she can overcome this and just sing out for the world someday.
  • She's a little shy. She's a little timid at first sometimes, but she very quick to warm up and be someones friend.
  • Allison love to go on outings with me. She always asks to come and I hope this never changes. I always let her pick a treat-I think this is why.
  • She is always such a happy girl. It is very rare occasion when she throws a fit or is grumpy-I think this is the quality I love SO much about her. What a blessing this is.
  • She is happy being the middle child. Sometime she gets less attention from me because her siblings require more, but she is just happy living her life!
  • She sometimes is in her own little world. She is very imaginative and creative! My mom said I was a little bit like this too. It's pretty cute and I really am surprised she hasn't' had an imaginary friend yet that lasted more than a day. She spends LOTS of time coloring and creating things. (she makes a huge mess all the time but I try to be patient)
  • She is nurturing. She always helps take care of babies that we are watching and little friends and cousins that are here. She takes care of her dolls and toys.
  • She gives me nose kisses and butterfly kisses and loves to have me lay by her at night.
  • She is a BIG time Daddy's girl. They are so cute together. I actually get a little jealous of Dave sometimes because she is always so affectionate with me, and sometimes is hard for me to get a hug.
  • She snorts sometimes when she laughs. We think she does it on purpose because we always laugh and smile when she does it.

William 7

  • He always wants to please, he always
  • He is brave, if something embarrasses him or bugs him, he tries not to show it
  • He works hard at school. Franklin is tough-he loves learning new things and is the ideal student at school
  • He looks after his little sisters, he helps them and plays with them
  • He plays by himself so well. I love how he can just play with his Lego's or in the backyard by himself. On busy weeks sometimes he asks if he can stay home just to play. Love that about him
  • He is still a Mommy's boy. I hope he never completely grows out of this one. His Dad rarely can console him, but if I just hold and hug him for a while, I usually can calm him.
  • He love to cuddle with me and still give me kisses-I hope he doesn't ever fully grow out of this one as well
  • He has a spiritual side. He loves the gospel
  • He LOVES Daisy. They are quite the pair and are best friends.
  • Our talks every night when I tuck him in. We talk about whatever he wants, sometimes its his time to melt down, a lot of time he wants me to tell stories of when I was a little girl, sometimes its just about Lego's
  • He is a little sensitive. This can also be a challenge at the same time. But I think it helps him be more thoughtful, spiritual, and loving. This drives David crazy because sensitivity is not a sign of manliness, but I think it will be a talent for him in a rough and unfeeling world he has to grow up in
