January

For Christmas Kristen offered to teach Will how to cook a meal. He chose rib. He spent half the day with Kristen and then they hosted us to a delicious dinner.
Before mom and dad left, we went to a play together, it was really nice to spend some fun time with them before they go.
Let the fun begin! We always talked about remodeling out back room and I guess the time is now. We are feeling a little cramped and there is clutter all over the place, but Dave is doing a lot of the work and saving us a bundle.

So long to our hand me down couches of 12 years. Stain, holes, and no joke-seriously falling down into the couch when you sat in it. We posted the set on craig's list and it was going in 30 minutes!

This adorable cutie turned 7. She is a light in our house, always happy, smart, creative, a self starter-just love her. We had to be at the studio on her birthday but she said all she wanted was little Ceazars and bundt cake-super easy girl.

They are gone, I cried. It does feel like a part of my heart is across the ocean. But-I've called them a few time already and it's nice. They are defiantly still adjusting to England. I'm excited for my trip there!
After seeing Grandma and Grandpa leave, I took this kids on a hike. It was longer than expected but they did good and it was nice to get outside doing something.

100th day of school for these old ladies.
