Holly's Baptism

We had the most wonderful day with Holly on her baptism day. There was a special spirit there. I can not believe how grown up she is. We are so proud of Holly for choosing to follow Christ. I am so grateful to David for being worthy to baptize her. William was pretty sick that morning with a high fever, he just couldn't come to the baptism. So instead of him being a witness, I got to witness with Allison. It was so fun being with my girls getting Holly dressed after she was dunked.

Since my mom was in England, I asked Sandra to sew Holly's dress out of the remaining pieces of my wedding dress. She was nervous about it but it turned out so beautiful. A few days before she came to drop it off, but when Holly put it on there was a huge space at her waist and we coule see right down her dress. Because Sandra lives far away and we didn't have time to exchange again-I took the dress and left it with Deanne Hoover. She fixed it an dropped it off the night before. However, the clip wasn't strong enough to hold the dress together and we had to constantly watch Holly's dress the whole baptism because it kept getting un hooked. When Holly's daughter wears it, we know just how to fix it this next time around.

I just LOVE her dress. Both my girls have the baptism dressed made from my wedding dress and made by one of the Grandma's. So special to me.
