Celebrate Good Times

So many celebrations at the end and beginning of the year.  14 year anniversary. We had dinner at home-Dave made something yummy which I can't remember what it was and I made a carrot cake. The girls loved trying on my wedding dress.
Fuse Christmas Show! It was really nice to have an in person show-something that was not virtual!

Musicians are always busy at Christmas time. We got asked to do some music in church and the girls sang "If I Were at the Manger" and I played the flute. Allie was pretty nervous-but I was proud of her for getting up there and doing it. She was so excited at first-but when we got to church I was thinking about how we were gonna do it without her she was that nervous. I'm glad she did because both her and Holly sang beautifully
Dave was working Christmas Eve. Trell and Luc had nothing going so I invited them over. We had take out, did the nativity, played a games, watched a little show, and went to bed by 9. We talked Myla into being Mary-and boy was she cute. She insisted in staying in the costume all night. And now every time she comes over she asks to be Mary.

The girls got new bikes for Christmas! They are still a little afraid to ride because they are kinda big-but we will get there. It's almost been like teaching them to ride a bike again.

Ah-Uncle Micah. He is the best. On black Friday Dave and I picked up a geko for William's Christmas present and had Uncle Micah keep it at his house for secrecy. We almost killed the geko at first because we had nothing in the cage and he was freezing. Every day I dropped something new off at Micah's for the geko. And yes-he recovered and became very fat.  William was soooooo excited. The geko is named Gary and he eats a ton! He's not cheap to feed.

Dave's 38th birthday. He wanted to eat at Rodizio with friends so that's what we did.

Baby boy Bodine just couldn't wait to be born on January 8th-so he came on January 3rd! Guess he didn't want to share birthdays with his Auntie. Trellany got covid just as she was going into the hospital-so they are all on lock down-but hopefully we'll get to meet the new baby soon. His name is Jay and he just has the best cheeks I've ever seen.

My 37th Birthday. My friend Calli hosted me and my sibling at the Fuse Box for karaoke-it was a great night. My siblings were so fun. I actually had a pretty junky morning/day so it was very nice to be with people who love me and were so thoughtful.
