We have had many baptisms and blessings this year. It is wonderful! Here I am with my Olive Whitney on her blessing day.
My mother sewed 3 custom baptism dresses this year. A very fun thing to always remember.
William had his first Orchestra Concert-I couldn't be more excited about him being excited about cello. Sage has been the best teacher for him. I love that he is reading music! I hope this is something he will continue to love through out his life-I know it can bring him great joy. My mom is trying to make it to EVERY grandkid's concert/event. The concert was the same day she reitred, she gave a fantastic speech. Of course I wasn't surprised-she is fantastic at anything she does. We got to celebrate at Don Jose's after.
The Ward Nativity Program. Allison got the honor of being Mary. Holly was the cutest star I have EVER seen. William was the inn keeper. I lead the music and our primary president asked me to dress up too.
Fuse Show. I think all my kids had a blast. We did gospel choir and I played the piano. I smacked my face on the piano right before we started! I thought my lip was bleeding the whole set-it was just drool from my swelling lip. My girls had solos again and nailed it. Holly lost one tap shoe, Allison lost one of her tap shoes, Holly lost her tap skirt. Oh man- I tired not to let my show nerves get to me this time around-I prayed for calmness and that the kids would feel proud of themselves-my prayers were answered. Long day-but good day.
My Mom's retirement party and Will's concert were on the same day as our 12th anniversary. It was a busy day for us. Dave and I didn't see each other till 6:30-but we managed to sneak in some sparkling cider and watch our wedding video. My wedding dress still fit! The next day we had a couples massage-soooo wonderful!
Our Allison wasn't loving having family pictures-but hey here it is for family history just the same.
My Mom and Dad are on the countdown to leaving for England. I'm starting to feel it. I think we all are.
Christmas Sunday
David's Brithday breakfast at IHop, it was fun to pick him up from the airport on his birthday.
