November

We had our first broken bone. On a Saturday night we had a few friends over to sit by the fire and Dave did peach cobbler. The kids we playing chase and Allison braced herself with a fall on the back of the couch. She was CRYING! I just thought it was her normal hurt cry. Nothing could console her, but we had friends over so I tried to ignore her. She watched a movie and calmed down. We had Sunday, and I sent her to school Monday. But she wasn't using her arm. So Monday we pulled her out for an x-ray. My friend Christy looked it over-sure enough broken. We waited 2 more days till appointment with the orthopedic guy. It' a small buckle fracture and she just needs a brace for a month or so. I just think it's funny I didn't believe her and sent her to school!

For Thanksgiving we went to Kolstads and spent pretty much the whole day there. I can't eat as much as I used to that's for sure! Then the next day we went hiking and Dave managed to come along! Also, I've been hiking with my friend Tracy in the mornings! She is wonderful and it's been great to get out!
