Covid 19-April begins

As Covid 19 continues to spread, we continue to stay home.  We just watched General Conference, what a fantastic conference! There was hardly a soul in the room, the Tab Co had pre recorded music. The prophet has again asked us to strengthen our ability to receive personal revelation and bring other souls to Christ. He read a new proclamation to the world about the restoration of the gospel. How fantastic! With our children we participated in the Hosanna Shout in our family room. We sang the Spirit of God and We Thank Thee Oh God for a Prophet. I truly have felt a special spirit here in our home again. Of course-it only lasts a few minutes before the wild kids go back to their wild ways.

I have been so grateful to have a living prophet on the earth-and that I know he is a prophet! What a blessing! He speaks for the Lord, we are so blessed. I have been very grateful to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives. I truly believe this is why I haven't been phased by all this craziness. This world will becoming even more crazy, more selfish, more worldly, ect. We live in the Latter Days-this comes with the great blessing of the fullness of Christ's church-and with increase attacks from the adversary. I pray my children will be so strong in their faith! They will have to navigate through worse than it is now. I hope they will be strong.

The kids have been home for a month now! One down-4 more to go. I am seriously about to buy the trampoline in hopes that William will get out some of his energies outside more often. Yes-even using my saved travel money to buy it-I'm getting desperate. He spent a few days two weeks ago shoveling dirt at the Milletts, then this past week he spent 2 days at Micahs doing the same. He loves going to work and earning money. (and I love him keeping busy!)  But in a lot of ways this time has been awesome! I've gone into the office I think twice for 2 hours-so I've pretty much quit. I need to stay home and make sure the kids are not wasting their day away on a screen. We greatly limited our time seeing family. Just here and there. I think everyone is afraid of our house because David works at a hospital. We only had Myla over 2 weeks ago-that's it.

I got hiked out a little, but as soon as my mom got off quarantine we went out-just kept our distance. I need to take William again! I just hate leaving the girls home with Dave sleeping for too long. My Broadway kids lessons have started virtually. I've been posting singing time links online. I haven't missed the hustling about at all-in farct most days I don't even know what day it is! That is normal for me-but truly, I don't even think about it till noon because we truly have nothing going on.

I'be been doing home improvement, baking, cooking, cleaning like I've never done before. I haven't been board at all! I need to exercise more-I'm gaining weigh being home all day like this. Just these kids and the house takes my entire day.  Online school officially starts tomorrow. I've got a little set up in the family room. I'm actually kinda bummed about it! I have to be like a hawk when my kids are on computers. They constantly are playing games when they told me they were going to do school work. Monitoring their school work is gonna take half my day! I can't even get them to brush their teeth! What a bummer-I don't home school for a reason!

Family Monopoly night got a little intense.

Ward drive in movie-William is passed out under the blankets. We had to park apart from each other and visit only from the back of our cars.

William was treated pretty good at Micahs, electronic breaks, take out with Grandpa, and a hefty paycheck. Will told me "Mom I want to be Micah's son"

Thank goodness Goodwill is still up and running. We took a trip there a got some new toys to pass the time and a new VHS player for all our Sunday VHS movies.
David and I worked together to scare the kids on April fools.
Hike with Grandma-Will was so fast!
The girls have literally had a party in their room for 3 days now. It's a huge mess but I'm glad they are all having fun together. They charge admission, have snacks, and special programs to dance with pop stars and animals. It's legit.
